In October of 2021, we took a trip to Big Bend that sparked the idea of what we wanted this community to look like. We traded phone time for face time. We laughed and talked about what was going on in our lives. We had conversations that would otherwise have never happened. We recognized the power of adventuring and wanted to share through Offbeat.

Within the next two years, we went on to launch six more hat styles and grow our community to reach adventurers around the great state of Texas.

It all started with Wednesday night creative meetings. In the fall of 2021, Grace, Cooper, and AC, met every Wednesday night at 9pm to build out the brand. Here we built out the dream we had for our brand and the community surrounding it. We bought blank hats and custom patches to hand sew 48 bone colored flat bill hats for what would be our all-time best selling hat, the Disco Cowboy.

We grabbed our friends and took some photos of our new hats. We were proud to launch to start a brand we really believed in. January of 2022, we launched our 48 hats and sold out within two hours.

Now we are getting to create hats inspired by adventure and the stories of our community. Our hope in 2024, is to share more stories and meet more of you!
