I grew up in a rural town in East Texas. I lived on a lake and my parents worked at a camp. I was always running around building forts and playing in the woods. We loved to travel and made a goal to go to every national park as a family. We have visited most of the parks in the US. I think that is where my love for the outdoors and travel began. I love doing anything outdoors from swimming to hiking. 

Coming from a small country town into a city was quite the change. But, I quickly fell in love with College Station and my community here. The first semester of freshman year I met some cool people who were starting an Apparel Company. I have always been interested in Entrepreneurship and creativity and they were living the dream. I tried to help out as much as I could and do anything they needed. I saw how cool of a community they were creating around a few hand sewn hats and it was exciting! 

After a few months the Offbeat team offered me a spot on their team. It was an amazing day ill never forget. I have loved every second learning and growing while doing Offbeat. I am so excited for the future and seeing our ideas and dreams come to life. There community is like no other I have seen and its keeps growing every day. It is a community that can share each other stories and be proud of your story.
